Terms and conditions of booking
Please read the terms and conditions of booking before signing up to any
classes or events run by something crafty.
*By ticking the terms and conditions box when booking, you agree to the following*:
If attending a child's class, your child/children will be supervised at all times by you the parent/ guardian/ care giver. Something Crafty does not take responsibility for accidents or injury caused through misbehaviour or unsupervised negligence on the parent/ guardian/ care giver's part.
Any craft item that is made in the class can be taken home after the session, but any unused materials or Something Crafty tools shall not be removed from the class and remain the property of Something Crafty. There will be a charge to you the adult/ parent/guardian/ caregiver for the full price of any materials taken from the class without permission.
Please note to check your order carefully before confirming, once booked your place is confirmed and your booking is non-refundable.
You may transfer the booking over to someone else's name after contacting the class leader for confirmation- this will need to be at least 24 hours before the class starts. The cost of the booking will not be refunded. It is up to you the adult/parent/ guardian/ care giver to receive money for the transfer of booking from the new participant (if applicable)- Something Crafty is not responsible for this.
*Cancellation policy*- if for any reason Something Crafty can not run the scheduled class due to illness, bad weather conditions or another reason that means the class cannot go ahead, you will have the option to transfer your booking to another date. If another date can not be agreed then you will be entitled to a voucher valid for 3 months. If you the consumer can not attend a class, you will have the option to transfer your booking to another person but no refunds will be offered.
If there is not enough sign up for a specific class then the class can be cancelled with 24 hours notice and a refund will be issued.
Everyone attending class can get messy! especially if painting or using glue. Please do not come to class in clothes that you are not happy to get dirty/ permanently stained or ruined. Something Crafty does not take responsibility for any damaged or lost clothing/property of the participant(s) by attending this class.
You can purchase branded Something Crafty overalls from the class leader at additional cost (if available).
No food and drink is to be consumed whist in the class. If you need a drink you can vacate the room at any time, after thoroughly washing your hands.
at times materials might be used that some participants have an allergy to. You as the adult/ parent/ guardian /care giver are responsible for ensuring that Something Crafty is aware of all allergies and conditions ahead of the class- at the time of booking. Something Crafty does not take responsibility for injury/ accident caused from misinformed or uninformed information in regards to allergies/ pre- existing conditions.
All participants agree to follow the rules and regulations of each venue hired for the use by Something Crafty classes- making yourself fully aware of the fire safety and building regulations on arrival.
Please respect the furniture and materials made available to you by the venues and Something Crafty Club. Any deliberate damage or destruction of property owned by either party (venue/ Something Crafty) will be charged back to you the adult/ parent/ guardian/ caregiver, to be paid in full.
Please be respectful of all others taking the class. You can take photos of your own children but please do not take photos of other children that are not your own without prior consent. By agreeing to these terms you agree that photos can be taken of your children by the class leader for use in promotional materials and on social media platforms. Where possible Children's faces will be blurred out of any images shared for public view, unless prior consent is given.
If you are not happy for photos to be taken then please speak to the class leader.
From time to time there maybe items on sale in the classes or raffles taking place. It is not mandatory for you or any of your party to purchase an item on sale by the class leader, so please do not feel under pressure to do so.
When booking a party with Something Crafty a non refundable deposit of £25 will need to be paid to secure your booking. The final cost will be due 1 week prior to the event date. Failure to pay the total cost upfront will mean that Something Crafty is under no obligation to fulfil it's requirements to host your (the client's) party. And you will lose the non- refundable deposit.
An adult/ parent/ guardian will need to be present during all craft events and parties to supervise. Something Crafty is not a registered child care provider.
COVID MEASURES- December 21'.
We ask that participants still remain vigilant.
If you or anyone attending, or within your household has symptoms, or a confirmed case, of Covid-19 please DO NOT attend the session.
There will be hand sanitiser available in class.
If you or a family member contracts covid-19, meaning you can not attend the scheduled class, you will have the option to transfer your booking to another date, or to another person attend in your place- unfortunately no refunds can be offered.
Something crafty events can be cancelled if there is not enough attendance to make it worth while. You will be offered an alternative date to move your booking to, or a Voucher (valid for 3 months).
Event costs can change if venues or material inflation warrant an increase. In this instance an updated cost will be provided and if this is not acceptable a refund of deposits paid will be offered.

**Privacy policy**
When you conduct a transaction on this website, as part of the process, Something Crafty will collect personal information you provide such as your name, address and email address etc. Your personal information will be used for the purposes of booking and will not be stored past the end date of your booking. Your email is automatically added to the Something Crafty mailing list when booking.

This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides Something Crafty with the online platform that allows Something Crafty to sell services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.
They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All payments for Something Crafty services are made by direct bacs transfer through the bank. This is to ensure a safe and secure transaction with no additional charges.
Something Crafty reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If material changes are made to this policy, you will be notified that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information is collected, how it is used, under what circumstances.
